How to install/update the ASWBCentral Desktop application

This article will walk you through installing or updated the ASWBCentral Desktop application (aka Centennial).

Installing the application

  1. Open Windows Explorer and open the DBApps folder

  2. Double-click on the IT Deployment folder, and then the ASWBCentral folder

  3. Open the folder for the version of the desktop application you wish to install

    1. PROD - this is the production version used for processing live applications and records

    2. TEST - this is the version used by staff to validate new features and functions prior to deployment

    3. QA - the development version which should only be used when directed by IT

  4. Begin the installation by double-clicking on the setup.exe application

  5. If you receive a security warning, press the install button

    1. If the install button is not available, press Don’t Install or Cancel and notify IT

  6. A progress bar reflecting the installation of the ASWBCentral desktop application should now be seen. Once installation has finished, the application will automatically open up.

Updating the application

The ASWBCentral desktop application will automatically check to ensure that the latest version is installed before starting. If a newer version is found, a message will be displayed prompting you to update. Press the Install button.
