Description

To ensure that the system is properly tracking exam results and application progress, applications who have an approval expire should be Closed. For the purpose of this requirement, to allow for proper processing of delayed results, an approval will be considered expired 1 month after the Jurisdiction specific approval expiration date. For example, if an exam approval is expiring on 3/14/2022, the system will not expire the application until 4/14/2022.

Assumptions

  • The requirements apply to all pre-approval applications in ASWBCentral

Requirements

  1. If an application/approval has expired, the status of the application will be set to “Closed”

    1. A status audit note will be entered with

      1. The Audit Event type “Closed - Expired”

      2. Audit note text of text “Approval expired on <Expiration date> received”

        1. <Expiration date> will be replaced with the calculated approval expiration date based on the approval date of the application.

        2. The note entry date will be the date the system processed the expiration.
