Differences b/w Approval & Registration

Approval – From the state

·       How long candidate can test for, unless it is a 1-time approval only, candidates can test as many times as needed within this time frame                           

Registration – From ASWB – The $260-$230 fee

·       Valid for 1 year or one exam, whichever comes first. ONLY valid with active approval

 ** If candidate receives new approval from board, the registration will automatically be extended up to the 1-year registration date. Candidates will receive new Auth email with updated expiration. **
