If a candidate calls in with suicidal ideation

An After-Action Review must be completed.

  • Located in Exam Admin Folder - Risk Management

  • Completed forms will be in different folder.

Ask Candidate

If there are any resources available in their area

  • National prevention hotline is nationwide.

    • Suicide and Crisis Lifeline 988

    • 911 if active situation

  • Call the NAMI Helpline at 800-950-6264

Or text "HelpLine" to 6264

If call escalates get Katelyn/ Wendy on phone

  • Can interrupt meetings if necessary.

  • Felicia/ Wendy are both back up.

If can candidate is actively hurting themselves

  • Make Felicia aware so she can get in touch with Lavina/HR

  • If candidate is willing to provide any information for location get all.
