Rescores- PSI

  • Rescores can only be processed for an exam taken in the last 6 months.

  • Can only be done for Massachusetts candidates who have taken an Associate or bachelor’s exam. (Before this could be done for another jurisdiction they would have to be contacted first.)

  • If a candidate calls and wants to do a rescore, they will need to be sent to the MA application department. MA applications would email supervisors to see if the candidate scored high enough to do the rescore.

    • Pull up candidate in registrations and open registration details.

    • Scroll to bottom to get the scoring / test details.

  • You will need to know the raw score & Exam Form.

  • Check Examination Raw Scores (C:\Users\tdiaz\OneDrive - ASWB\Exam Admin – General)

    • Check for the form number needed to review and check under the exam level the candidate wants to rescore the examination for, make sure the candidates raw score is higher than the passing score under the exam level they want to transfer to.

  • Does not Qualify (below minimum raw score listed on excel)

    • Email MA applications candidate doesn’t qualify.

  • Does Qualify (above the minimum raw score listed on excel)

    • Email MA applications so they can notify the candidate they qualify and will have them complete the application process for the proper exam level.

    • Once the candidate has made an application, and MA has approved the candidate and the approval is in the CRC Registration program, MA applications contact the supervisors in CSC to collect the $280 rescore fee.

    • Specialist II will email the candidate to set up a timeframe to collect payment.

      • Once payment is collected, send candidate information over to Wendy to process rescore.
