Member Services

• All calls for states MA, CO, ME, TX & UT will now go to the 3200 extensions. Candidate services will no longer determine if needs the board or member services. (Member Services Page)

Fifth Theory

• Currently goes out to all unsuccessful candidates after testing, starting this summer it will be available to ALL candidates BEFORE they test.

  • No launch date yet, waiting on data from HMRO

  • Launch will occur in summer of 2024 (Date is TBD)

Product Orders

• Candidates will be showing on their ASWB central account any orders they have completed online.

• Candidates will still not have access to the items that ASWB processed for them.

Registration

• If there is no signature on the registration, we cannot process. 

  • There must be a signature at the credit card location or at bottom of the registration.

    • We can accept a typed name, but if the signature lines (both credit card & bottom) are blank – we cannot process it.

Score Transfers

• We will no longer charge for ST once they go into Central. It will be in Central for life.

• Resends are not necessary for scores submitted 1/2/24 and after.

  • If the Board does not have them the Board needs to request those.

  • If a score has been done prior to 1.1.24 we can resend no charge in management.

Paper/ Pencil Exams & Zero Scores

• Paper and pencil Candidates will show as “absent” until their exam is scored.  This status will now show as NA as of 3/11/24.

• There were 200 Candidates with zero scores.  Robert is looking into the issue.  There are 5 or 6 Boards affected.  Candidates MUST report incident online.

Reading Survey results

• We will review monthly for issues such as: SA concerns, uncomfortable testing facilities, specific question number issues, technical concerns, etc.

• We will check these areas for follow up Incident Reports

  • If there is no Incident Report, we will forward these concerns to Subrena.

• Highlight the positive areas such as outstanding staff or testing experience.

Security Wanding at PSI sites

• Effective April 1 at ALL test centers.

• Has been added to the Examination Guidebook. (ASWB-Exam-Guidebook.pdf)

• Candidates are required by PSI; exception would require documentation.

PSI Test Center Notifications

• PSI will begin to notify Candidates via a text message if their test center is closed.

The PSI message will be as follows:

Effective March 18, PSI will now be able to notify your test takers via SMS text messaging if their scheduled test center experiences an unexpected closure. Any test taker who has provided a mobile phone number and opted-in for SMS messages in their PSI test taker account, will receive an SMS text alert if their test session is affected by a test center closure.
