Changing Assignment and Assignment Notification

Applications are assigned to a ASWB Staff Member when the application is initially imported. You can change the assignment of the Application at any time by following the steps below. When assigned to a licensing application, the assigned staff member will receive an email anytime the status of the application is changed by someone else.

Step-by-step guide

Changing the Assigned To user:

  1. Open the licensing application you wish to change assignment for by double-clicking on it from the main dashboard area
  2. Click on the Events tab when the licensing application opens up.
  3. At the top of the Event tab, select the username of the individual you wish to assign the application to (including yourself if you are taking ownership)
  4. Click anywhere on the screen outside of the drop-down list (or click the Done Button) to save the changes.

Changing the Assignment Notifications

  1. Open the licensing application you wish to change assignment for by double-clicking on it from the main dashboard area
  2. Click on the Events tab when the licensing application opens up.
  3. Remove the checkmark in the "Receive Status Update Emails" checkbox if you do not want to receive Status updates. Set the checkmark if you wish to receive the notifications.


  • When the Assigned To user of a licensing application is changed, the new user will by default receive all status change notifications.
  • You are only able to enable/disable the receipt of the email notifications if you are the individual currently assigned to the application.
