ASWB Online Practice Test
The online practice test is a valuable tool for preparing to take the exam. The software simulates the test center experience and contains questions from previously used licensing exams. This is the only practice test offered by ASWB.
The fee for the online practice test is US$85. It can be purchased online here: https://products.aswb.org/PracticeExam or with registering the exam over the phone.
The online practice test includes 170 questions and candidates have 4 hours to take the exam. They can log in and out until their 4 hours is completed or they have run out of time.
Access to the practice test is for 30 days to review the questions, answers and rationales. The 30 days begins when they launch the practice test.
ASWB offers full-scale online practice tests for candidates registered to take the Associate, Bachelors, Masters, or Clinical ASWB social work licensing examination. Please note: There is no online practice test for the Advanced Generalist examination.
There is only one version of the online practice test for each category of exam. The current version came out in 2018.
Candidates registered for the Associate exam may purchase the Bachelors online practice test, which shares the same content outline. However, the passing score for the Bachelors practice test will be applied.
Only registered candidates may purchase the social work licensing exam. In order to purchase the practice test, you must have your authorization to test number, which can be found on your Authorization to Test email sent by ASWB.

Official Score Transfers
Each score transfer requires a non-refundable US $40 fee.
Official Score Transfers are only sent to state/provincial boards for licensure. Candidates must contact the state/provincial licensing board to apply for a license. prior to requesting a score transfer.
If the candidates name has changed, they will need to upload legal documentation of the name change to complete the transfer request.
Candidates can also become ASWB Social Work Registry Members. Registry enrollment includes one single record per enrollment period.
Duplicate Score Reports - Previous PV candidates ONLY
Duplicate score report fees are US$40
The duplicate score report is not an official document and it is not a duplicate of the unofficial score report received at the PV test center. It doesn’t include diagnostic information.
A duplicate score report is sent to the candidate for their own records.

ASWB does not offer score verifications.
Rescores
Rescore fees are US$280
Available for scores going up or down for Bachelors and Associate Exams.
Must order within 6-months of exam date.
Candidate must be approved for exam level through ASWB MA.
ASWB MA sends request to CSC who determines if the candidate is eligible for rescore.
MA notifies CSC to contact candidate for payment. CSC processes the fee for the Rescore.
